There are spiritual prophecies regarding the Yoruba Tribe in the area of Africa known today as Nigeria where this song was written and performed.
Most of them have been wiped out due to the influx of Islam and Christianity.
Yoruba's spiritual home is Ile-Ife and the messenger (Oduduwa) was sent by the Creator (Olodumare) to create the Earth and subdue it from Oranmiyan.
Lyrics to Hug The World:
CHORUS
Take a deep breath for a minute
Gaze at d stars for a minute
Chill en relax for minute en
Let's stop en hug d world
Step outside for a minute

Verse 1
For! There so much we've been given
But we wanted more
Though we scared her with our tools of destruction
But she still endures
Humanity's greed is a disease
En nature is d cure
So we gat to appreciate her
For that piece of paper
She keeps u warm in the coldest winter
You gat to know.........So!
Verse 2
If only we will pay attention
We'll feel her pains as the wind blows
If only we will care to listen
As she cries in a silent whisper
TRIBAL CHANT
(((Oluwa))) - the Yoruba name for the Creator
Chorus again
Stop the gas emissions
Deforestation
Global Warming
Like the Fukushima nuclear disaster
End
