Morning: Monday, February 2, 2026, Santa Barbara East Beach, Mid-Winter’s Day, 30year anniversary of the Seven Fires Wampum Belt Ceremony, conducted with its Algonquin Prophecy Keeper, Grandfather William Commanda, to further the 8th Fire Prophecy Fulfillment, at the water’s edge, marking the end of the 1995-96 SunBow5 Peace Prayer Pilgrimage from New England to the Chumash Western Gate of Point Concepcion, the place believed to be the spiritual portal where the human souls pass through as they enter and leave their bodies upon birth and death.

NOON: Walk west from East Beach on East Cabrillo Blvd 1.5 miles to Stearn’s Wharf Dolphin Fountain at State Street, from the water’s edge at East Beach parking lot located on East Cabrillo Blvd at Corona Del Mar.

NOON: Tuesday, February 3, 2026, American Peace March from the Dolphin Fountain, walk 1.5miles to City Hall to speak for 3min public comments at the weekly televised Santa Barbara City Council Meeting. Rally following outside in the park at De La Guerra Plaza.  The Dolphin Fountain plaque depicts the Chumash origin story of the human beings who walked from the islands to the mainland over the Rainbow Bridge created by the Great Spirit who told them to not look down, but those who did fell off into the ocean and turned into dolphins.

9-10am Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at De La Guerra Plaza speakers to send off the American Peace March walking 12 miles in about 4 hours to UCSB Eternal Flame Memorial Peace Monument, with an hour lunch stop at Goleta Valley Community Center after walking 3hrs (8mi)

NOON: Thursday, February 5, 2026, gather at UCSB Memorial Peace Flame Monument, just south of Buchanan Hall, and walk across campus to the Tree of Peace, on the northwest corner of Storke Tower.

Noon Friday, February 6, 2026, Walk from the UCSB Tree of Peace to Isla Vista to celebrate the anniversary of the February 6, 1999, passing of Hopi Interpreter Thomas Banyacya, and the 50th anniversary of the arrest of Leonard Peltier on February 6, 1976, framed for two murders, before his 2024 release after 49 years in federal prison, to serve the rest of his two life sentences in home confinement, thanks to the Biden autopen. We appeal for President Trump’s Full Pardon and reparations for 250 years of the American Indigenous Genocide.
